The small brick structure in my back yard in Toronto was little more than a storage shed and a place for mice and raccoons to poop... until I had kids. Then I saw those filthy bricks in a new and beautiful solitary light. Now, after an extensive renovation and with whatever free time I can cling to, I head to the garage and experiment with stop motion video & visual effects with a little help from some toys of the television and movie characters that I grew up with. I hope you enjoy what I'm up to, because I sure do.

The Brick Garage Studio Backstory
Film And Video Work
After graduating from Broadcasting, I went on to make my own films and videos and began working on big budget sets including Inception, The Bourne Legacy, Pacific Rim, Suits and Star Trek: Discovery, just to name a few.
In looking for ways to promote my iOS storybook app, I began shooting toy cinemagraphs. One of the images featured some rudimentary stop motion animation, and from there I caught the stop motion video bug.
Small kids equals less filmmaking. I began shooting still photographs for project365, and eventually combined my skills to make cinemagraphs. Cinemagraphs led me to make a cinemagraph storybook app for kids.
